Delivery Information

We offer FREE delivery for orders over £30 providing you live within UK mainland (this does not include UK Highlands and Islands).

Next Day DPD - £7.50

If you select 'Next Day DPD' and your order is received before midday we will ship next day delivery with DPD - you will be contacted on the delivery day by email and text message with a one hour delivery slot.

If your order is received after midday but before 4pm there is still every possibility it will be despatched the same day, otherwise it will be sent the following day.

For all other areas outside of UK mainland (such as UK Highlands and Islands), postage may be charged at cost - if there is an additional charge to the standard terms above we will contact you on receipt of your order.

We aim to ship orders within 1-2 working days.

We use Royal Mail Second Class for smaller packages up to 2kg and our chosen courier for larger/heavier orders. Like all internet retailers we rely on couriers to deliver when they promise, but these are only the guidelines that they offer. Courier companies will deliver Monday to Friday, normally during working hours and require a signature. We are happy to send your goods to any address that you choose, (e.g. place of work), as long as there is someone there to sign for the goods. When checking out you have the option of changing your delivery address. For items being delivered by Royal Mail, we are unable to take specific delivery details and cannot stipulate specific delivery requirements such as "please leave in shed behind house".

For customers who do not notify us within 30 days of their product not arriving, we cannot offer a replacement or refund. You must apply or notify us before that time period. After 30 days we are no longer able to claim by royal mail or our courier for goods lost in transit. In addition if a customer asks us to leave a note suggesting a parcel can be left in a certain place (without a signature), then you do so at your own risk - we are not responsible.

Delayed Parcels: Sometimes goods take longer than normal to arrive with Royal Mail or our chosen courier. Customers are not entitled for us to send a replacement in the meantime. We are legally obliged to wait 15 working days (3 weeks) for a parcel to be considered as lost - only then will we issue a replacement and not a refund. See Royal Mail website for further detail:

Shortages: Any shortages on parcels which are unexpected - please contact the office within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.

Incorrect Delivery Address: To enable us to complete our contract with you, and successfully deliver the goods to the address you supplied on the order (or any subsequent change to the delivery address which we have agreed) you must supply us with a full, complete, and correct delivery address. If the address supplied subsequently turns out to be not full, complete and correct (including the Post Code) you will be responsible for any additional charges levied upon us by the carriers as a result.

If the goods are lost or not delivered as a result of the supplied address not being full, complete and correct, then you are fully responsible for the delivery failure, and we will not refund the value of the goods or any original carriage charges, nor send replacements. You alone will be responsible for any search for the missing package.  However, in the event of any error in the addressing on our part, then of course, you would not be held responsible in any way, and we would sort out the problem at no cost to you.

Overseas Sales: If you live outside the UK goods sometimes take up to 30 days to arrive. There is nothing we can do about that whilst it's in transit, so all we can ask for is your patience.  Contact us after 30 days if your parcel has not arrived with you.

Damages: Any claims for items wrongly delivered, short, broken or damaged must be notified to Ocean Retail Ltd., in writing within seven days of receipt of goods, and must be accompanied by full details of the order and invoice number.

The buyer must sign the carrier’s delivery documents by means of the written note “damaged” when signing for deliveries arriving damaged and all efforts should be made to check all packages at the time of delivery before the carrier departs. Items will only be credited or replaced if it can be proved that damage occurred prior to delivery and/or it was clear that goods were damaged in transit.

Returns: If you wish to return your goods for any reason you must inform us within 14 days of receipt in accordance with UK Distance Selling Regulations. You (the customer) are solely responsible for the cost of returning the unwanted items.
